*To qualify for student registration, you must be a full-time academic student and send a copy of your Student ID card and status to the Executive Program Chair.

Taxes – Registration fees include 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax). GST applies to most goods and services in Australia.

The Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) is administered by the Australian Customs Department and enables travellers departing from Australia to claim a refund of the GST and Wine Equalisation Tax (WET) paid on goods bought in Australia.  For detailed information on the TRS, visit the website of the Australian Customs and Border Protection Services of the Australian Government.

The Conference Registration Fee entitles you to present not more than 2 papers that you are one of the authors for. It also covers the Welcome Reception, Conference Proceedings, all Conference sessions, morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks plus two working Lunches, and the Conference Dinner.  The Conference Proceedings will be supplied to all conference participants and will have an ISBN. As every AWBMAMD conference is of national and international significance, the proceedings will be made available for sale to the general public. After the conference the Book of Abstracts may be published on the website.

CONFERENCE VENUE:
The selected venue for Delegate accommodation and Conference sessions is
Novotel Perth Langley, 221 Adelaide Terrace, Perth WA.
A discounted accommodation rate is available. Delegates presenting papers will receive the booking code in their Letter of Acceptance. Non-presenting delegates can request the discount booking code from the Registrar by emailing office@academyofworldbusiness.com.

Some conference sessions will also be held at St. Catherine’s College
University of Western Australia, Nedlands, WA.

REFUND POLICY

Cancellation of Participation Received by the Academy

Any cancellation notification received by the Academy will be subject to the following refund policy:

  • 80% of the amount paid will be refunded if written cancellation is received on or before 30th May 2023
  • No refund after the 30th May 2023

Cancellation of Conference by the Academy

If, due to any unforeseen circumstances, the Academy of World Business, Marketing and Management Development deems it necessary to cancel a Conference, it will be held in the following year in the same country or in another country, and those who have paid to attend the Conference will have the following options:

  • Notify the Academy to refund the Registration Fee, less 10% to cover bank charges and administrative costs; or
  • Notify the Academy to keep the Registration Fee for the next Conference.
