LATE REGISTRATION WAIVER:  Regarding the recent extension of deadline for call for abstracts, authors who received acceptance letters of their abstracts  after May 15th will not be  charged a 10% late fee if the payment is made on or before June 27th 2014. Without receiving your revised final abstract and your registration fee on or before 27th June 2014, the Academy cannot guarantee that your abstract will appear in the Conference Proceedings.

Non-presenters who wish to make late registration payment after the 27th June 2014 must contact AWBMAMD for an approval to do so.

 

NOTE: For full papers, without receiving your revised final full paper and your registration fee on or before 30th April 2014, the Academy cannot guarantee that your paper will appear in the Conference Proceedings. However, please contact the President, Dr Gabriel Ogunmokun, if you need more time to revise your paper.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE: The conference registration fee covers the Monday Night Cocktail Party, all Conference sessions, morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks, two working lunches, Wednesday Night  Conference Dinner and the Conference Proceedings.

Late Registration: Any registration payment received after 30th April 2014 will incur a 10% Late Fee (as stated below) and must be added to the full registration fee and paid no later than 11th June 2014.

- Additional AUD76.50 late fee for full registration after 30th April and not later than 11th June 2014

- Additional AUD66.50 late fee for full registration for full-time students after 30th April and not later than 11th June 2014

WHO CAN ATTEND?

PRESENTERS: People can attend the Conference if they have submitted a paper which has been double blind reviewed and accepted and if they have paid the registration fee. The registration fee covers the Welcome Cocktail Party, Conference proceedings, all Conference sessions, morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks plus two working lunches, and the Conference Dinner. Each presenter will receive a Certificate of full membership of the Academy of World Business, Marketing and Management Development.

NON-PRESENTERS: People can also attend the Conference as an observer to listen to the presentations of papers without presenting a paper of their own, if they have paid the registration fee. The registration fee covers the Welcome Cocktail Party, Conference proceedings, all Conference sessions, morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks plus two working lunches, and the Conference Dinner. Each non-presenter will receive a Certificate of Attendance and can become an affiliated member of the Academy of World Business, Marketing and Management Development.

THE MAIN HOTEL SELECTED FOR THE 2014 CONFERENCE: THE RAMADA JUMEIRAH HOTEL in Dubai http://ramadajumeirah.ae/ located on Al Mina Road has been selected as the 2014 AWBMAMD Conference Venue for the Welcome Address and Presentation of Papers.  This modern, clean new hotel with huge lobby, day light glass ceiling and surrounded by different kinds of restaurants and free scheduled shuttle bus to specific malls (Dubai Mall, Mercato Mall, etc) offers modern rooms – Classic, Deluxe, Superior, Premium and Suites, with internet, flat-screen televisions, iPod docking stations and generous in-room amenities. It has a state-of-the-art Health Club and Spa, rooftop swimming pool and a sun deck with excellent views of the Dubai skyline including the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa. Based on our negotiations with the hotel, the special room rates for AWBMAMD participants are:

AED 350 net (Classic Single Room occupancy), AED 375 net (Classic Double Room occupancy) per room per night, inclusive of 10% municipality fees, 10% service charge,complementary buffet breakfast at the Cuisines Restaurant and free  internet in rooms.

HOTEL CLOSE TO THE CONFERENCE VENUE: Mercure Gold Hotel is very close to the conference venue. It is a modern contemporary hotel also located on Al Mina Road. It is also close to Sheikh Zayed Road, the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Port Rashid, Dry Docks, Maritime city and 5 minutes away from Jumeirah Beach, and 20 minutes from the International Airport. Comprising 184-rooms/suites elegant in design, 3 food and beverage outlets, including a outdoor rooftop swimming pool, gymnasium and SPA facilities. It will give the following special room rate to AWBMAMD conference participants.

CHEAPER HOTELS TO CONSIDER:  Although there are a number of cheaper hotels you can select from in Dubai they are not very close to the Conference hotel.  Whatever hotel you consider staying at, the room rate per night to look for should be the net rate inclusive of 20% taxes, complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi in room.

2. Use “Add text” tool to complete your details, choose “Save as” to rename the form as “Conference Registration for ______ (your name)” and return as an email attachment to: registrar@academyofworldbusiness.com

The Conference Registration Fee must be paid in Australian dollars by Bank Transfer or by Credit Card. It should be made payable to: “Academy of World Business, Marketing and Management Development”.  Information about how to pay by Bank Transfer or by Credit Card is on the Registration form.
